An idea for the Tapirulan gallery competition themed ‘Chaos’.

We are all made of flesh and bones and chaos is part of our nature. From the verbal resemblance between ca-os in Italian and the phrase “carne e ossa” (flesh and bones), I chose to describe with this work the infinite ways in which we repeat this nature of ours exactly because we are just flesh and bones. We can’t do without it!

Relying on the Helvetica Neue typeface i constructed the C and A out of raw meat and the O and S out of different parts of bones to demonstrate this idea.
